Brandon Ansel has been the lead financial advisor in accomplishing over $30 million in capital refinancing in 10 unique transactions focused on Michigan’s lower, middle, and small business markets. In addition to these activities, over the past 10 years Mr. Ansel has started, and successfully exited, seven small businesses in technology, distribution and food service/hospitality industries, employing over 100 people in South Central Michigan. Mr. Ansel will be referencing the principles of his book, The Next Right Thing.

Kevin Hitchen and his two partners co-founded Localstake in 2011 to provide growing businesses a new solution for raising capital. Since its launch in 2013, the online investment marketplace for investing in private businesses has been featured in national media publications like TechCrunch, YahooFinance, and Investopedia. Entrepreneur highlighted Localstake in its Reinvention 2013 article on “Indy’s Innovators”.
Kevin is an active speaker and advocate for entrepreneurship, increased access to capital for businesses, and private business investing. He has spoken in Washington D.C. to Whitehouse executive leadership about entrepreneurship in Indiana, has been seen on Inside Indiana Business, and has been quoted in the Indianapolis Business Journal (IBJ) and BizVoice. Other recent speaking engagements include the Techpoint Innovation Summit and the Venture Club of Indiana.
Prior to founding Localstake, Kevin worked in institutional investment management and due diligence at the Indiana Public Retirement System, a $25 billion pension investment fund for Indiana public employees and teachers. He began his career at J.P. Morgan providing investment and wealth advisory solutions to individuals and families, many of whom were business owners or former business owners.
In 2012, as a result of his community involvement and leadership in Indianapolis, Kevin was selected as one of Indy’s Best and Brightest by Junior Achievement of Central Indiana. Outside of Localstake, some of Kevin’s current and former community involvement includes:
• Serving on the Advisory Board for the Butler University Student Managed Investment Fund (SMIF), a $1 million investment fund ran by Butler University Students.
• Mentor to Dreamapolis, an Indianapolis-based urban accelerator for entrepreneurs.
• Served on the Board of Directors for Conner Prairie Museum, an interactive history park based in Fishers, IN and Smithsonian Museum’s only Indiana affiliate.
Kevin graduated from Butler University with a B.S. in Finance and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
Hank Weber is a consultant and mentor specializing in business planning, start up, marketing, and the internet. Hank has worked with clients to develop and implement over 150 Business and Marketing Plans.
Scott Montgomery joined OST in the spring of 2009 as the Manager of the OST Security Practice. Scott comes to OST with over 25 years of IT and IT Security related experience. Within the last ten years, Scott has personally performed more than 500 Security Assessments for several hundred organizations. Using a proprietary and unique assessment approach, developed by Scott and used since 1998, the OST Security Team has the ability to gather, analyze and assess the security of any organization. Scott has a Degree in Computer Information Service from Ferris State University. Scott's articles and quotes often appear in trade publications and he is regularly invited to speak publicly about Computer Security, Identity Theft and Technology Trends.

Before joining Raymond James in 2010, she was a financial advisor with Edward Jones for more than 10 years. She earned her IIMC certification at the Raymond James Institute of Investment Management Consulting and earned the professional designation of Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) from the College for Financial Planning.
Angela believes in participating in and serving her community. She has been a member of the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce since 2001. She is also a volunteer for the Women's Leadership Council of United Way and is a member of the Jackson Midtown Association, Business Professional Women, the Rotary Club and the finance committee for Revive the Pride.
In addition, Angela previously served as a member of Junior Welfare League, a past board member of Recovery Technology, past vice president for Business Networking International and served on committees for the Lumen Christi and JCC Fundraiser events and the Jackson Country Club.
Angela is a native of Jackson, where she lives today with her husband, Ric. Together, they have seven children and 10 grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, photography, snow skiing, water skiing and travel.

Michelle remains extremely committed to her community. She was on the Brooklyn-Irish Hills Chamber of Commerce board of directors from 2003-2013. She is currently serving on the ambassador and advisory committees. Her past positions with the chamber include president, vice president, secretary, area promotion committee chair, ambassador chair, education chair and co-chair of the race-fest committee.
She also serves as a trustee for the Brooklyn Community Chest and is a member of the Women's Leadership Council of United Way, the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce and Jackson Midtown Association. She also chairs the finance committee at her church.
Originally from Napoleon, Michigan, Michelle now lives in Brooklyn with her husband, Bob. They have two children and two grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, hiking and serving others. Michelle and her husband are passionate about world missions and have served in Peru, Kenya and Guatemala.
